Welcome to the first issue of our European Catalogue. With its
publication, we are delighted to offer our European colleagues a better
service by providing product descriptions and technical specifications in
no less than eight languages.
At Audio-Technica, our work begins with transducers, the interface
between people and the equipment that captures, transports and
delivers audio communication. When designing these productshigh-
performance microphones, headphones, wireless systems, mixers
and morewe push the limits of the laws of physics to create the
highest performance possible at prices that make our products widely
accessible.
We are proud to have earned recognition for these leading innovations in
electro-acoustic design and manufacturing. We are equally pleased to
be recognized as a company that benefits both our customers
and our communities: we are committed to supporting the music,
broadcast, entertainment and communication industries in which our
end-users work.
In 2002, as we celebrated our 40th anniversary, Audio-Technica
supplied approximately 2000 microphones during the Winter Games in
Salt Lake City. A-T microphones delivered outstanding performance
despite the extreme challenges of on-site coverage of events like luge,
skiing, biathlon, skating and more. Two years later and 60° Celsius
higher, we are committed to doing our part for the Summer Gamesas
we did in Atlanta (1996) and Sydney (2000). In August of 2004, we will
support broadcasting in Athens by supplying more than 1600
microphones and associated technical support.
To all who use our products: we are committed to meeting your needs
and helping improve your performance. To all our dealers and
distributors: we are dedicated to supplying your business and your
customers with outstanding products and support. Wherever you do
business, dont hesitate to contact us for further product innovations,
for information and expertise. Whatever your needs, please be assured,
at Audio-Technica, we are... always listening.

520.00 Dual-element cardioid microphone
Revolutionary, first-of-its-kind dual-element
design represents a ground-breaking transducer
achievement.
Two elements (condenser and dynamic) are
enclosed in a single housing.
Dynamic element delivers the aggressive attack
of the beater while the condenser captures the
round tonalities of the shell.
Elements are positioned in a perfect phase
relationship, something practically unachievable
with two separate microphones.
Robust design for enduring dependability
on the road.
Integral 80 Hz HPF switch and 10 dB pad.
AE3000
240.00 Cardioid condenser microphone
Excels in high-SPL applications such as guitar
cabinets, toms, snare, timpani and overheads.
Large-diaphragm capsule combines with the
open architecture of the headcase to provide an
extremely accurate and open sound.
Low-profile side-address design with tapered
grille allows optimal positioning of element
vis-à-vis sound source.
